Join Brent Kirby with Andy Leach as they play Brent's songs in one of the best music venues in Northeast Ohio, the GAR Hall in Peninsula. "I have always created unique and specific setlists for the GAR shows in the past," Brent says, "I'm very excited to be playing a bunch of new songs along with my super talented friend Andy Leach, who has been a big part of my musical journey." Brent is a favorite at the Hall, as his well written tunes are delivered with sincere, heartfelt emotion. His performances are reflective in nature, with the listeners often finding themselves as a catalyst in the song. Kirby's universal lyrics are on the surface specific and at the same time deeply layered, where the audience can find a common and personal point of relation and entry into the song. His soulful voice is both unique and soothing, colored with weathered age and experience. In 2022, Brent was voted “Best Folk” by the Cleveland Music Awards and nominated for “Best Songwriter” by the Cleveland Scene. Kirby was especially proud of the "Best Folk" award, saying "I try hard to be a good example, and treat people with respect".

The New Soft Shoe is a Cleveland based band that exclusively covers the catalog of Cosmic American Music's Gram Parsons. The band digs deep into the catalog with the only rule that Gram had to have played the song at least once for it to be performed by the band. 7-10pm $5 cover at door.
